Background:

The Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), through its Division of Housing (DOH) Office of Housing Finance and Sustainability (OHFS) has created the Transformational Affordable Housing, Homeownership, and Workforce Housing Grant Program established by Colorado House Bill 2022 1304 (HB22-1304), funded by a total of $138,000,000.  The aim of this program is to increase the number of affordable housing units and the availability of housing  opportunities across Colorado to ensure everyone has a safe, stable, and affordable place to live and thrive.  The source of funds is from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program, a part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
